Parking lot at Velký Pařezitý Pond. Parking here is free.
Before setting out on our hike, we first treated ourselves to a light snack at the Aifelova bouda, which is right next to the parking lot. Then we set off along the red trail toward the pond. We continued along the pond’s dam. Along the way, you can get a nice view of the highest mountain in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands—Javořice. Beyond the pond, we joined the blue trail for a short while, but soon turned onto a wide forest path. We soon joined the green trail. We followed this flat path, climbing gently until we reached the turnoff to Míchova skála. A forest path full of tree roots leads to the rock. The rock was just a short distance from the turnoff. We climbed up to one of its peaks. However, the views were obstructed by tall trees. Even so, we took a break there.
Then we headed back along the forest trail. The trail isn’t wide, but it’s clearly marked. During the descent, views of the surrounding area opened up, including Velký Pařezitý Pond. After the descent, we joined the paved road for a short while, but soon left it and continued along the trail back along the pond’s shore. Finally, we returned to Aifelova Bouda, where we once again treated ourselves to some light refreshments.
Refreshments are available at Aifelova bouda near the parking lot. There are no other water sources along the trail.

From Mícha Rock, there are now only limited views of the surrounding area due to the tall trees.
The hike itself is very easy and safe. You need to be careful when climbing up to Mícha Rock itself. It’s not difficult, but the path is steep all the way up. Even small children can manage it, though.
